not at all. you just sit sideways in the center of it, then turn into it, and you're in.
much more comfortable than sleeping on a pad in a tent.on multi day trips that adds up as you don't awake all stiff and sore.
the hammock and tarp packs up much smaller in your pack, and is just a bit lighter as well.
you also don't need to find a flat spot to set up, all you need are properly spaced trees.
i've been using this system for a year now, and will never return to a tent again.
Joey are they hard to get in and out of?
you'll not find a more comfortable sleep system for the outdoors.
