Myers,

Rabbit creek is open, that is from last weekend.  I want to drop over the lip of that hill.  We will plan it this weekend while you gather firewood for us.

Joey,

I'm going to go back to that exact same spot and climb the hill in the picture to look down that valley into Abram's drainage,  this is the time of year to see what has been wrought.  Wanna join me?

john, this is what i hiked out back on the thanksgiving weekend.
i had previously kayaked up abrams creek after the storm and was aghast at the destruction i saw along the way.
but it was nothing like what i saw as i walked through all of this.

Jenn and i are still stubbornly going to hike/bushwhack the beard cane trail, even if it takes more than a day to crawl over all the fallen timber.

Frank,

Thanks, If you look real closely at the right third of the picture, Grady is hiking down the trail.  I stitched four pictures together so you are actually looking at a half mile of trail here.  It was absolutely incredible.  I can't imagine what that would have been like and this is almost a year later.

I wonder what that sounded like going through the mountains. Cool pic.
